Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-02
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. FreeTour.travel uses a small number of them, mostly to remember your preferences and to let our booking partners know when a visit came from our Site.
Cookies we use
| Category | Example | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie preference so we don’t ask again on every visit. | 1 year |
| Affiliate attribution | civitatis_aid, viator_pid/mcid, agoda_cid | Set when you click a booking link, so our partner can credit FreeTour.travel if you complete a booking. Set by the partner’s domain after you click through, not by us directly. | Varies by partner (typically 24 hours to 30 days) |
| Analytics | Aggregate site-analytics cookies | Helps us understand which destinations and pages are useful, in aggregate — not used to build individual advertising profiles. | Up to 2 years |
Affiliate disclosure
FreeTour.travel is a member of the Civitatis, Viator, and Agoda affiliate programs. When you click a "Reserve your free spot", "Check availability", or hotel link on this Site and go on to complete a booking, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the Site free to use and free to list on.
Managing your preferences
When you first visit the Site, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics). Strictly necessary cookies and affiliate-attribution cookies set by our partners after you click through cannot be disabled from our Site — you can block or clear them at any time in your browser settings, though doing so may prevent a partner from crediting your booking to us.
Most browsers let you review and delete cookies, or block them from specific sites, in their privacy or security settings.
