Privacy Policy

This page explains what FreeTour.travel (“we”, “the site”) records when you use freetour.travel, what we do with it, and the choices you have. The site works without an account: most visitors browse and click through to a booking partner without giving us any personal data directly. Questions go to contact@freetour.travel.

What we record

Visit measurement. Every page loads Google Analytics 4, and there is no consent banner. It records pages viewed, approximate country, device type and where the visit came from, and it sets the _ga and _ga_VGCZPVCTZ5 cookies. IP anonymization is switched on, and we use the figures only in aggregate, to see which pages are useful, never to build advertising profiles.

Technical access data. Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which logs technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

Images and fonts from other servers. Page photos come from outside servers (Civitatis, Agoda and its hotel-photo host, Unsplash and an image-resizing service), and fonts come from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to those servers directly when the page loads, so they see your IP address, as with any website.

The site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing else in your browser. Map links simply take you to OpenStreetMap or Google Maps; nothing from them is embedded in our pages. See our Cookie Policy for the list of cookies.

Links to partner sites

Some links on this site lead to partner sites; if you book, buy or subscribe through them, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click, you go to the partner’s site (Civitatis for tours and activities, Booking.com for hotels, NordVPN for the VPN service), which has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies. The link carries a campaign code so the partner knows the visit came from FreeTour.travel. Booking and payment happen on the partner’s site, and we do not receive your booking data.

What we do not do

• The site has no user accounts, no newsletter and no forms.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not use the statistics to build advertising profiles.

Messages you send us

If you write to contact@freetour.travel, we receive what you include, usually your name, your email address and your message. Messages sent to that address are stored and organized by an automated tool so our team can read them, and are used only to reply to you. We keep correspondence as long as needed to answer you and for a reasonable time afterwards. Analytics data is kept for Google’s standard retention period.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of the personal data we hold about you (in practice, the messages you sent us) by writing to contact@freetour.travel. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you can also object to the processing or ask us to restrict it.

To refuse the measurement, block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Partner sites, Google and Cloudflare handle data under their own policies.
