South Bank & River Thames Free Tour
Shakespeare, street food and the greatest skyline walk in Britain
The south bank was where London went to misbehave — theaters, bear pits and taverns banned from the proper city across the river. Today it’s the city’s favorite promenade. This walk runs from the Globe to Tower Bridge past Borough Market, with the skyline lighting up as you go.
The walk starts at Trafalgar Square (Trafalgar Square, London WC2N) and runs daily at 16:30. It lasts around 2 hours, is offered in English, Spanish, and the group is capped at 25 people so the experience stays personal. Look for the guide with the green FreeTour sign.
