Prague Communism & WWII Free Tour
The 20th century that shaped the Czech soul
Between 1938 and 1989 Prague lived under two dictatorships, staged an assassination that changed WWII, and finally won its freedom with a revolution so peaceful it was named after velvet. This tour walks the sites of occupation, resistance and revolt — heavy history told with dark Czech humor.
The walk starts at Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí, Prague 1) and runs Tuesday to Sunday at 11:00. It lasts around 2.5 hours, is offered in English, Spanish, Czech, and the group is capped at 25 people so the experience stays personal. Look for the guide with the green FreeTour sign.
