Prague Old Town Free Walking Tour
Astronomical clocks, alchemists and defenestrations
Prague’s history reads like fiction: emperors obsessed with alchemy, protests that started by throwing councillors out of windows, and an astronomical clock built so beautiful its maker was (legend says) blinded to prevent a copy. This walk covers the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter’s synagogues and the approach to Charles Bridge.
The walk starts at Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí, Prague 1) and runs daily at 10:00 and daily at 14:00. It lasts around 2.5 hours, is offered in English, Spanish, Czech, and the group is capped at 25 people so the experience stays personal. Look for the guide with the green FreeTour sign.
