Shibuya & Shinjuku Neon Free Tour
The scramble, the alleys and Tokyo after dark
Three thousand people cross Shibuya’s scramble every green light, and that’s just the warm-up. This evening tour rides the west side’s energy from Hachikō’s statue through Shibuya’s backstreets to Shinjuku’s Omoide Yokocho — "memory lane" — where lantern-lit alleys barely two meters wide serve the best yakitori in the city.
The walk starts at Kaminarimon Gate, Asakusa (2 Chome-3-1 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo) and runs daily at 17:00. It lasts around 2.5 hours, is offered in English, Japanese, and the group is capped at 25 people so the experience stays personal. Look for the guide with the green FreeTour sign.
