Porto Historic Center Free Walking Tour
From São Bento’s azulejos to the Ribeira riverfront
Porto built an empire on wine, trade and stubbornness — locals proudly call themselves "tripeiros" (tripe eaters) for a reason your guide will happily explain. This walk descends the historic center from the cathedral heights to the Ribeira riverfront, past bookshop-famous streets, baroque towers and the world’s most beautiful train station.
The walk starts at Praça da Liberdade (Praça da Liberdade, Porto) and runs daily at 10:00 and daily at 15:30. It lasts around 2.5 hours, is offered in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and the group is capped at 25 people so the experience stays personal. Look for the guide with the green FreeTour sign.
