El Born & Tapas Culture Free Tour
Medieval lanes, market halls and how to eat like a catalan
El Born is where Barcelona goes to eat, drink and argue about football. Between the basilica the neighborhood built in 55 years and the market hall hiding an excavated city, this tour teaches the rules of tapas, vermut hour and pa amb tomàquet — with plenty of recommendations for after. Tastings optional, hunger guaranteed.
The walk starts at Plaça Reial (Plaça Reial, Barri Gòtic, Barcelona) and runs Tuesday to Sunday at 11:00. It lasts around 2.5 hours, is offered in English, Spanish, and the group is capped at 25 people so the experience stays personal. Look for the guide with the green FreeTour sign.
