Greenwich Village & SoHo Free Tour
Bohemians, brownstones and cast-iron cool
The Village broke the grid — literally, its crooked streets predate it — and then broke every rule of American culture: folk music, Stonewall, beat poetry, punk. This walk winds from Washington Square’s arch through leafy brownstone lanes into SoHo’s cast-iron district, the world’s best-preserved industrial elegance.
The walk starts at Bowling Green (Bowling Green Park, Lower Manhattan, New York) and runs daily at 11:00 and daily at 15:00. It lasts around 2.5 hours, is offered in English, Spanish, and the group is capped at 25 people so the experience stays personal. Look for the guide with the green FreeTour sign.
